Cultivating growth in learning for EACH student is a passion and high priority for me.

I earned by Bachelor's Degree from Central Washington University and a Master's and Doctorate in Leadership for Learning from the University of Washington.

My service in public education stretches over 39 years and has been in a variety of positions, including teacher assistant, teacher, curriculum specialist, assistant principal, principal, special services executive director, and assistant superintendent prior to becoming the proud superintendent for Arlington Public Schools.

Engaging all stakeholders is paramount to supporting student success. My commitment to foster and nurture an authentic partnership between our schools, homes, and the Arlington community is unwavering.

I've been married to my husband, Dave, a retired special education teacher, for 44 years. We both grew up in the Pacific Northwest. Together, we rais
ed six children - five sons and one daughter. We also love and have lots of fun with our seven grandchildren.

I have served as a teacher, principal, program director and assistant superintendent during my 38-year career in education. I have worked in four different states during my tenure but am proud to call Washington my home. I earned my bachelor's degree from Central Washington University, my master's degree from Seattle University, my principal certification from California State Northridge and my superintendent certification from Western Washington University.

I am excited to continue serving students, staff and families in Arlington Public Schools.
