Summer Meals

Arlington Public Schools continues meal program throughout summer

ARLINGTON- Arlington Public Schoolsmeal distribution program ran from March 13, 2020 to June 11, 2021. The program served over 344,000 meals to children in the community. A new meal program starts on Monday, June 21 and will run through July 29.

Any child will be able to receive meals if they are between the ages of 1-18 or up to 21 if in a Special Education Transition program. There is no income qualification required and children do not have to be students enrolled in Arlington Public Schools.

The new program will distribute meals for pickup at the following sites:

  • Pioneer Elementary (8213 Eaglefield Drive, Arlington)Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6/29, 7/1, 7/13, 7/15, 7/20, 7/22, 7/27, and 7/29

11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

  • Weston High School (4407 172nd Street NE, Arlington) Monday through Friday starting June 21 and ending July 16

11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Meals for the community will align with student summer programs in the district. Meals will no longer include a week’s worth of meals but only breakfast and lunch for a day. Children will need to pick up meals each day they want to participate.
