For Air Quality Index (AQI) decision-making purposes, schools will rely on:

• The District Office AQI meter (Post, Eagle Creek Elementary, SVLC, Haller, Presidents Elementary, Kent Prairie Elementary)
• The AHS AQI meter (Arlington High School, Pioneer Elementary, Weston High School)

Parents and guardians always have the right to request their child not participate in outdoor activities due to air quality readings in excess of 50. They just need to contact the school office to make that request.
