ARLINGTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Arlington Public Schools educates all students, preparing and inspiring them to achieve their full potential.
Our focus on academic excellence, engaging activities, winning athletics and fine/performing arts has created an educational environment where all students can be successful, active participants in their education. In 2014, The Puget Sound Journal of Commerce rated the top ten communities to live in based on school performance. Arlington Public Schools was rated 4th in the Puget Sound area and we were the only Snohomish County school district included on the list.
There are four elementary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools (one of which is an alternative learning program) in Arlington. We also offer the Stillaguamish Valley Learning Center for blended and home-based instruction programs. APPLE Preschool, an ECEAP program, is housed within our district and available to qualifying families.
Arlington High School offers a wide selection of Advanced Placement and College in the High School classes. Career and Technical Education classes and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs are offered at both the middle and high school level.
The district also supports fine and performing arts. The Arlington High School musicals are a huge hit with our entire community. The Byrnes Performing Arts Center allows for students to perform in a professional environment.
