Fran goes out of her way daily to meet the needs of every student in her class. As one of her students commented, Ms. Schmitz helps me understand ELA, encourages me to push through, and is an awesome teacher." Another student stated, "Ms. Schmitz has shown me that I have a passion for writing and influenced me to write poems." Clearly, Ms. Schmitz is in tune to each of her student's needs and works extremely hard to get to know them as a student and as a person. She communicates with families and is always willing to put forth the time and effort to allow every student to be successful. Fran is a tremendous asset to Haller Middle School!
