School Board

BoardDocsThe District is in the process of converting to BoardDocs for the management of Board meeting agendas & content, minutes, policies, procedures, and other Board-related documents.

Beginning with the April 24 Board Meeting, agendas, packets, and minutes can be found in BoardDocs. Please click on the link in the left-hand column to go to BoardDocs now.

As we are able to get information moved over to the BoardDocs system, some of the tabs on this website will disappear and you will go to BoardDocs to find that information (e.g. Board Policies). However, to avoid any downtime, the documents will be left on this page until they have been fully converted.

School BoardYour Board of Directors is comprised of five (5) members elected from the Arlington community for a four-year term. To become a Board member in Washington, an individual must be a resident of the community, be at least 18 years of age, and live in the Director District he/she is elected to represent.

Two student representatives are non-voting members of the Board. They are chosen through a rigorous interview process and serve a two-year term during their junior and senior years.

The Superintendent serves as the Board Secretary.
