Summer School for credit retrieval and credit advancement runs June 21, 2021 through July 16, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. five days a week.

8th to 9th Grade Transitions Summer Course




The Freshman Transitions Course runs June 22 through July 16 from 8:30 am. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students taking the Freshman Transitions Course this summer will earn a half credit for completion of this Project Based Learning course that will focus on building their math and English skills, while working on a community project.

Please note: We are moving the location of this course to Haller Middle School (600 East 1st Street, Arlington).

Literacy Camp

Elementary Literacy Camp runs from June 29 through July 29 from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Pioneer Elementary School. The camp will not run the week of July 5-9.

Bookmobile and Mathmobile

Great news! The Bookmobile and Mathmobile will be running again this summer! The Bookmobile and Mathmobile will not run the week of July 5-9.
Bookmobile, Wednesdays, June 30 – Aug. 11
A bookmobile will be traveling through the Arlington community and stopping at the locations listed below. Elementary students will be able to pick out books and enjoy reading time on the bus with district staff. They can also check out books to read at home.

Bookmobile Locations and Schedule:
9:30–10:15 Presidents Elementary
10:30–11:15 Crown Ridge
11:30–12:15 Mobile Estates
1:15–2:00 Timbers Apartments
2:15–3:00 Eagle Creek Elementary

Mathmobile, Mondays, June 28 – Aug. 9
The Mathmobile will be running again this year and will be staffed with four teachers who will provide play-based math instruction to participants. While the instruction is geared toward elementary students, preschoolers and middle school students are also encouraged to participate.
