WELCOME TO THE LIBRARY!

Summer Book Exchange-

IT’S TIME FOR THE SUMMER BOOK EXCHANGE!

It’s fun to get “new” books to read over the summer. Exchanging books with another child is an easy and inexpensive way to do this! Students may bring in up to 5 GENTLY used books to the library at the beginning of each school day during the week of June 3rd through 7th. They will be given a numbered ticket and will be able to choose up to five books to take home on Monday, June 10th. (If you bring 3 books, you get to choose 3 books etc.) Please do not send preschool level books such as Sesame Street or high school level books.

Book donations are gladly accepted so that we may offer a larger selection. Students must have a signed permission form to participate. The form will be sent home in mid-May.

The last day to check out books is Friday, May 31st. All books need to be returned on Monday, June 3rd. Bills for damaged or missing books will be sent home shortly.

Sno-Isle Public Library Summer Reading Program- Lesla Ojeda from the Arlington Public Library will meet with all classes on Tuesday, June 4th to share information about this year's summer reading program. They have a lot of fun and educational activities planned with prizes such as new bikes! This program is a great way to motivate children to keep reading over the summer. :)
