Happy Spring!
Coming Soon: KP Field Day - June 12...Last Day of School, from about 9:30-12:30. Parent Volunteers are needed to help run the activity centers for this annual, fun-filled event. Our class has a reputation for having the most parent volunteers, and Mr. Brekhus has put out a challenge to all of the other classes to beat our Field Day volunteer number! No pressure at all...ha, ha, ha! If you already know you're available and willing to volunteer, just let me know by sending an email reply or a note. Thanks!
Our final math assessments will cover all skills learned this year. Check with your child to see if he/she feels the need for home practice on telling time, counting money, addition/subtraction with regrouping, measuring inches/centimeters, or place value (hundreds, tens, and ones). We'll continue practicing the skills here in the classroom on a daily/weekly basis.
