Students have covered the meaning of decimal, the place value names, and ordering numbers. We have also completed units on factors and multiples. We are currently working on single digit by double digit multiplication and will be introducing double digit by double digit multiplication. |

All of our reading teams are off to a good start. In each room we are working on comprehension skills. Students are focusing on sequencing and being able to summarize. Oa a group summaries have been something the knew well coming from third grade so I am sure we will spend less time on this. |

Students are good at writing a basic paragraph. We are covering ways to elaborate the paragraph and build upon ideas instead of listing details. |
