Did you know...
  • School is closed for Presidents Day on Feb. 15.
  • Pictures of "Spring Break 2010 - A Trip to the Beach" PTA Carnival  have been posted.
  • KP students earned an attendance celebration recess on Friday January 22.  The goal for each month is 94% attendance. In December the students went over the goal!
  • "Coins from KP Kids"  Students are collecting money for the relief effort in Haiti. SchoolCenter Picture Thank you to the PTA for helping us manage this event.  KP Coyotes care about others! StudentsSchoolCenter Picturebrought "tooth fairy" money, coins they earned, money they were saving for others things. On Friday January 22, $674.75 was donated to the Red Cross!   We are still collecting!
  • Family Fun Board Game Night pictures are posted.
  • M/W Kindergartners joined the T/Th K's for a "beach day" on January 29. 
  • The next classroom Boxtops for Education contest is Feb. 8 to 19.
  • A new schedule is posted for the Music Informances which are now scheduled on "Families at School" Night (6:01-7:30) K,1st Informance: 6:15-6:35; 2nd,3rd Informance 6:45-7:05; 4th 5th Informance 7:10-7:30. Performer's classrooms will be closed during their Informance.
  • Pictures of January's "Star Coyotes" have been added. Click on the the link and scroll down.  
  • Starting January, 2010, Campbells Labels for Education only accepts the bar code, not the front of the label.
  • PTA is collecting aluminum beverage cans for recycling. Parents can drop off the cans at the Smokey Point Recycling Center and mention that the cans are for Kent Prairie. Every Friday, cans can be dropped off in front of the school from 8:30 to 9:30.
