With a great deal of input from staff and community, our School Board and Administration made difficult decisions to reduce the budget and for the 2009-2010 school year and absorb the $3.8 million in funding reductions due to federal and state cuts and declining enrollment. The School Board is scheduled to adopt the final budget at their regular meeting on August 10, 2009.

Like the school district, you may have made reductions to your family's budget, some of which may have been painful.  And hopefully like us, by listening, exercising patience, perspective and teamwork, and thinking creatively, you have come through this difficult time even stronger and better prepared.
