Special Services

"Arlington Public Schools educates all students, preparing & inspiring them to achieve their full potential." We provide support to all students through the following services:

Bilingual Services:  If families need translation for their home language, they can contact the school or district office and a translator will be provided. Newsletters in Engish, Spanish, Ukrainian and Russian are also available.

Title 1/Learning Assistance Program (LAP): The purposes of the Title 1 program and LAP is to improve the educational opportunities of students who are academically at-risk for achieving state standards.

Highly Capable Program:  Students in grades 2 through 5 are eligible to be tested for the Highly Capable Program. Middle school and high school students can take advantage of advanced placement courses and/or Running Start classes at local colleges.
