In this one quarter exploratory course students will:

* Implement teamwork through food labs and group activities

* Practice safe and sanitary work habits in the kitchen * Prepare and serve at least one healthy meal at home

* Demonstrate good table manners

* Identify sewing machine parts and perform basic sewing skills

* Use a sewing machine to make a series of simple projects

It is my goal to assist students in developing good decision making habits while having fun in the process!
