vaccine redirected to SnoCo docs' offices
All mass vaccination clinics scheduled for Saturdays in November are

Information from the Snohomish County Health District indicates that influenza is widely circulating in Washington State. Due to the time of year that we are seeing the flu it is highly likely that the majority of flu cases are H1N1 influenza. Illness with the new H1N1 virus has ranged from mild to severe.
We have not seen his type of flu virus in our lifetime. With the regular flu, more of us have been exposed and have immunity. None of us have immunity to this virus which could mean more people get sick.
The regular flu primarily affects the very old and the very young. The information analyzed by CDC supports the conclusion that 2009 H1N1 flu has caused greater disease burden in people younger than 25 years of age than older people.
