Girl Scout Bronze Award goes to Hallie Simbeck! Hallie Simbeck, a Girl Scout and a 5th grader at your school, has completed the requirements for Junior Girl Scouting’s highest award, the Girl Scout Bronze Award. The Girl Scout Bronze Award recognizes a girl’s commitment to excellence as she develops skills and values to meet present and future challenges in her life. Hallie began working towards the Girl Scout Bronze Award in April 2011. To earn it, she had to design and carry out a plan of activities showing her promise and to become the best she can be. To complete the requirements for volunteer community service, Hallie hosted a Daddy Daughter Dance to benefit the Arlington Food Bank. This project is one in which she has an ongoing interest and willingness to continue her involvement. You are invited to join us for the awards ceremony at which she will receive her award. It is scheduled for May 17, 2012 at 6pm, at Weston High School. Congratulations, Hallie! |
