What is Running Start?

Running Start is a partnership program between local participating community colleges and public high schools. This partnership allows Juniors and Seniors the opportunity to take regular college level courses, tuition free, while also meeting high school graduation requirements.

What type of student is a good candidate for Running Start?

Not every student is a "good fit" for Running Start and vice-versa. Students that do well in Running Start tend to be described as: highly independent, motivated, self-starters that have the necessary skills to be successful in college-level study.
