Arlington . . .
is a thriving community with a small town feeling. It's one of the few places left where the schools have the most modern technology and yet you can still go to the local movie theatre for a two-for-one night. It's the kind of town that hosts the largest experimental aircraft show this side of the Mississippi and puts on a parade for just about every holiday. Arlington is located in the Stillaguamish River Valley approximately 40 minutes north of Seattle and 90 minutes south of the Canadian border, with easy access to a variety of performing arts, professional sports, cultural events, and to the majestic mountains and scenic ocean beaches. Arlington Public Schools has a rich history of "providing the means to accomplish dreams." We offer strong educational programs and opportunities to our 5,500 students. We are proud of our new and modern facilities, including our high school, alternative high school, two middle schools, five elementary schools, and the support center for our home-schooling families. Our instructional, support and administrative staff is highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated to educational excellence. This commitment, combined with our community's vital involvement, provides outstanding and unique opportunities for all of our students. |
