Kent Prairie School Spirit Song

Following our Respect Mini-Summit four years ago, students petitioned to use
"Make a Difference" for our school song.
We sing this song every Friday morning. Along with energetic singing, 4th and 5th graders sing in the halls.

Everyone has got a chanceto make a difference, big or small.

Everyone can give a little for thegood of one and all.

Opportunities knock every minute. They’re coming along.

Everything that we face togetherhelps to make us close,

to make us strong!

We are strong together!

We can make a difference! We canlend a hand!

We can make some changes when wetake a stand.

If we put our heads together,

we can find a better way!

When we put our hearts together,

we can make a difference today. We can!

Everyone has things to offer thatcould help so many ways.

Everyone can make an effort

working toward some better days.

Look around and you’ll see lots ofchances….

Just look anywhere.

All the things that we do together– giving, working, showing how we care! How we care together!

Ending:

We can make a difference!  Yes, we can!

Today!  We can!
