About Us

The AHS Booster Club is an organization of parents, students, administrators and staff who are interested in supporting programs and activities at Arlington High School, including academics, activities, arts, & athletics. Membership can include any person (not necessarily a high school parent) interested in promoting excellence in these areas.

What we do: Some of the events we have been involved in . . .

  • Annual Potluck Tailgate Party: Chili, fresh cornbread and desserts were served to hungry football fans at the Arlington vs. Stanwood home football game.
  • Teacher Appreciation: In November, we provided a fabulous spread for the faculty during the break of the parent teacher conferences.
  • Boys basketball concessions: This was our main fundraiser, and besides being successful, it was also a lot of fun.
  • Staff Appreciation Luncheon: The AHS staff was reminded throughout the year of how much we appreciate them. We surprised them with small goodies and favors and a luncheon.
  • Sports Hospitality Rooms: We hosted hospitality rooms for coaches and referees for track and wrestling.
  • HI-Q Funds: We gave funds to our state-champion-HI-Q team, Knowledge Bowl, the new Chess Club, the Senior All Night Graduation Party, & the Arts Alive Project for the new Linda M. Byrnes Performing Arts Center  at Arlington High School.
  • Scholarships: We gave $4,000 to Dollars for Scholars for eight $500 scholarships to graduating seniors.
